This is a jeep tour that includes visiting St. Catherine Monastery and the White Canyon. You will be picked up from your hotel in Taba at around 06.30 and will make your way to Catherine village to visit the Monastery of St. Catherine.
Please note that you will need a visa in your passport($15 from Sharm el-sheik airport) and as we are visiting a holy site you will need to have your shoulders and knees covered. Drinks are not included with lunch.
The monastery lies at the foot of Moses Mountain in the heart of South Sinai. It is one of the most famous monuments in the area and has a lot of attractions like the church of transfiguration, the skull house, Moses well, and the burning bush.
After visiting the monastery we will drive to the White Canyon. From the mouth of the canyon, we will walk for 1 ½ hour between the rocks. You will enjoy the great nature here as well as the rocks and the white color that is everywhere. We will arrive at a small oasis in the middle of the desert called the green water spring. Here we will take a rest in a Bedouin tent before returning in the jeeps to Dahab for a nice lunch in a local restaurant. At around 6.00 pm you will be taken back to your hotel.
