This is one of the most important commercial points in southern Egypt for camels and above all, the handmade articles. It was closed for a long time for any kind of tourism; therefore you may experience the singular possibility as one of the first visitors. The tour starts in the morning.
We reach Shalateen after approximately 3 hours of traveling along the coastal road of the red sea. After visiting the market we will have our lunch in a local restaurant and in a Bishari coffee house, we will be served traditional coffee. On our return back to Marsa Alaam we will stop by the old fisher village where you can swim and enjoy the Mangrove.
