The first stop on our tour is the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and still to this day a riddle. A truly unforgettable experience. The sphinx is an enigmatic symbol of Egypt. You will have free time to enter one of the Pyramids(additional cost) if you wish. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.

The temple has a long history with evidence that Pepi I (Old Kingdom) rebuilt the temple, while other texts refer to reconditioning by Thutmose III, Amenhotep III, and Rameses II and III (New Kingdom). Additions were made during the Greek, Roman, and Ptolemy periods.

The next stop will be the Egyptian Museum where you will get to see 165,000 Egyptian artifacts. The priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun are the highlight here. His six gilded coffins dominate the main hall, while his magnificent death mask is the star attraction

We will then have lunch in a local restaurant in Cairo.

Move onto Coptic Cairo for a background about the Christian & Jewish heritage through the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Our final stop on this tour is to the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar. This is one of the most beautiful oriental markets. You will enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt.

At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport fr your flight back to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be taken back to your hotel.
